EULAR 2024 | EULAR Abstract Awards
EULAR bestows Abstract Awards to the first authors of abstracts submitted to the EULAR Annual European Congress . Winners are selected by the EULAR Scientific Program Committee based on the quality of the abstracts' scientific content. The award ceremony takes place at the EULAR Annual European Congress' Opening plenary session.
Abstract Award – Basic science
EULAR bestows 6 Abstract Awards to the presenting authors of basic science abstracts that are submitted to the EULAR Annual European Congress. Winners are selected by the EULAR Scientific Program Committee based on the quality of the abstracts' scientific content.

Abstract Award – Clinical science
EULAR bestows 6 Abstract Awards to the presenting authors of clinical science abstracts that are submitted to the EULAR Annual European Congress. Winners are selected by the EULAR Scientific Program Committee based on the quality of the abstracts' scientific content.

Health Professionals Abstract Award
EULAR grants 3 Abstract Awards for submitted abstracts by Health Professionals as presenting authors. Winners are selected by the EULAR Scientific Program Committee based on the quality of the abstracts' content.

PARE Abstract Award
One award is given to the highest scored abstract submitted in the PARE category by a PARE representative or a patient. No special application is required for this award.
Undergraduate Abstract Award
Undergraduates are medical students who performed the studies during their medical education / training; they have not yet qualified as a physician and are in general below the age of 25 years. EULAR bestows 3 Abstract Awards to the presenting authors of the highest scored abstracts in basic science or clinical abstracts that are submitted to the EULAR Annual European Congress. Winners are selected by the EULAR Scientific Program Committee based on the quality of the abstracts' scientific content.
PLEASE NOTE: PhD students do not qualify! "Undergraduate" means being still in medical school and not having passed the final medical school examination yet.
